Anna Riley, LICSW

Anna Riley, LICSW (she/her) graduated from Boston University School of Social Work in 2002. She has practiced in various capacities – as a therapist for children and families coping with DCF involvement, at a medical detox for substance use, at a methadone clinic, in a role supporting people in early recovery and providing outpatient therapy.
Her modalities draw from a wide range of techniques, including rational-emotive therapy, CBT and motivational interviewing.
Since entering private practice in 2019, she has focused on helping people with adult ADD/ADHD, trauma from childhood abuse and past relationships, and recovery from narcissistic abuse. She also has worked with people with chronic health conditions, stress and anxiety and feelings around conceiving and carrying a child, and the many unexpected journeys that may lead one down. She is passionate about supporting people exploring their sexual identity and coping with the stresses of coming out.
Therapy with Anna is person centered, non judgmental, trauma-informed, and strengths based. She is always compassionate and follows where her clients lead (unless they need a leader at times!) Anna believes in health at all sizes and is LGBTQ+ allied.
